I am not in the fire service. I purchased this book for a book/film project. I had a working understanding of many of the topics before reading this. I have yet to learn the scope and depth of the different issues. I have a whole new level of respect for what the men & women in the fire service around the world have to contend with regarding fires in any building considered to be a "high-rise," "super-tall," or "mega-tall" structure. Kudos to ALL of you!

Such a great book! One of the best I possess. A great deal of information in there, Yes an outstanding reference book.

Recently I was chatting with a chief and he asked me about the book and what was the breakdown on information. The 12 COMMANDMENTS, I told this chief it will be a good book to purchase and you can use it to cherry pick the information as needed. 7 YEARS is along time out of these chiefs lives, but it was well worth it at the end,. A CHIEF SHOULD have this in their library to reference.
