W. Edward Buchanan Jr.

W. Edward Buchanan Jr. has been involved with the fire service since 1982 and currently is a Division Chief with the Hanover County (VA) Fire & EMS, assigned to the Training & Quality Assurance Division. He is the former Program Coordinator for the Hanover County Fire Academy, providing fire, EMS and technical rescue training to a department of more than 600 personnel. He is a former District Chief and life member of the Henry Volunteer Fire Department (VA), and is an adjunct instructor for the Virginia Department of Fire Programs.
