Michael Wiebe

Michael Wiebe is President of MW Consulting, a leading boutique firm for strategic planning and implementation of telecommunications and information systems for competitive business advantage. This is his third involvement with industry deregulation -- the telecommunications and airline industries preceded the retail energy market. A noted industry speaker and author, Mr. Wiebe's experience includes founding and selling Iris Systems, a leading AMR hardware firm, to Itron in 1996.

Since then, consulting clients have included Bell South, PECO Energy, Duke Energy, and Manitoba Hydro, among others. PECO engaged him in 1998 and 1999 to support their planning and contract negotiations for the industry's largest AMR contract, involving Schlumberger and CellNet.
