Ian Bennett

Ian Bennett is a 20-year veteran of the fire service and a captain with the Seattle Fire Department. He is the owner of West Coast Fire Training, which helps departments across the country implement and improve live fire training in fixed facilities and acquired structures. Ian is a member of the NFPA 1400 Standard on Fire Service Training committee, an instructor for the International Association of Fire Fighters Evidence-Based Fire Ground Operations course, and a technical panel member on the Fire Safety Research Institute Fire Dynamics and Firefighting Tactics in Multi-Story Residential Structures study.
