Thomas Barry
Thomas “Tom” Barry was appointed to FDNY in September 1968. He was promoted to Lieutenant in August 1981. He retired in February 1994, spending his last 11 years assigned to Ladder 42 in the South Bronx. He then spent the over 20 years teaching at DHS’s Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, Alabama, developing training and exercises for FEMA and DoD. He resides in Northern Virginia.
