Daniel Madrzykowski

Daniel Madrzykowski is a fire protection engineer and the leader of the Fire Fighting Technology Group in the Engineering Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Dan has been conducting fire research aimed at improving firefighter safety for more than 20 years.

Madrzykowski, along with John Ceriello and Ted Nee, co-authored Fire Dynamics, which covers the fire dynamics requirements of NFPA 1001, explaining the science behind fire behavior and how the science applies to the fireground.
